In terms of managing a company’s finances, Erickson is an expert. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for BrightMinds Digital Marketing Corp since 2020, he has been leveraging excellent budget strategies as well as careful marketing research in order to direct the company’s finances year after year. He is responsible for overseeing the budget across all departments and meeting with executive members to determine the viability and cost of different projects.
Additionally, he uses his vision and leadership of the company in order to determine the optimal strategies for financial investment in order to ensure company growth both in the short term and long term.
Erickson has been managing money since he was a child, working and self-supporting student since he was a teenager. He studied college at Philippine Normal University (PNU) and took up Mechanical engineering at Technological University of the Philippines Manila (TUP).
In 2007, he worked as a Technical support representative in AT&T Bellsouth via Convergys (Presently known as Concentrix) and as a Customer Representative in Visa Inc. via Teletech customer care management Philippines and was promoted as a Team Lead after 8months of dedication and hard work. After 5 years, Visa Inc. was looking for people as they set up their onshore Business in the Philippines and he was internally hired. After less than 2 years of hard-work and dedication, he was then promoted to be part of legal and compliance taking up the position of Scheme compliance analyst running the compliance program for Global Dynamic Currency Conversion Service.
In This position, he was working closely with client financial institution and internal sales development and business development leaders across the globe to efficiently manage the compliance program for Dynamic Currency Conversion service at ATM and POS. On this role, he was able to bring Financial institutions to compliance, majority in EU, UK, Asia and the USA, generating annual average income of $550,000.00 USD. Additionally, he was able to witness firsthand the importance of being stringent with business rules compliance while delivering the highest level of services to clients.
The job allowed him to gain expertise with global compliance in digital payments and familiarity with technological models of expenditures, sales, profits and Non-compliance assessments.
